DONINGTON Park will host the only British round of the World Superbike Championship next season.

Two British rounds of the series have been run for the last three years but Silverstone has been dropped from the calendar for 2014.

Despite Tom Sykes winning the title this season and a host of other Brits riders contesting the championship, among them Smalley star Leon Haslam, attendances have been falling.

Now Donington officials hope to attract a bigger crowd on May 25 next year.
